A 7-foot alligator turned a quiet backyard pool into its personal spa before being wrangled by deputies.
The gator was spotted chilling in a Pinecrest Lakes pool, unfazed by onlookers, until Deputy Dawn Ferris, Sergeant Crystal Nash, and a pro trapper stepped in.
It was the second surprise pool guest of the day – a wild reminder that gator mating season means unexpected visits are on the rise.
Authorities believe it scaled or slipped under a fence, proving that no backyard is off-limits this time of year.
