The National Weather Service confirmed an EF-1 tornado touched down in southern Jefferson County near De Soto, Missouri.

The twister carved a nearly 5-mile path with winds reaching up to 105 mph.
Several structures were damaged, including a collapsed porch and displaced cabins. Fortunately, no injuries or fatalities were reported.
