Stargazers across the UK will see a rare sight on 11 June as the Full Strawberry Moon rises unusually low in the night sky, its lowest since 2006.
Lulu Bella captured the June full Moon appearing red-tinted a few days earlier, due to its low position on the horizon, as light passes through Earth’s thicker atmosphere.
appearing red on June 9th but it will be at its lowest tomorrow.
This striking visual is linked to a major lunar standstill, a phenomenon that won’t occur again until 2043.
Named after the wild strawberry harvest, this Moon marks a rare celestial moment for skywatchers.
