Severe storms caused wind and hail damage across northwest Iowa Wednesday, with roofs blown off in Sibley and Rock Rapids and a semi overturned.
Downed trees were also reported in Fostoria and Emmetsburg, while a couple of inches of rain fell between Mason City and Cedar Rapids.
After a quieter Thursday, more showers and thunderstorms are expected in the coming days.
