A wildfire near Rowena, Oregon, rapidly grew to 2,500 acres on Wednesday, leaving many drivers struggling to see through the smokey roads.

Wasco County Sheriff’s Office captured the heavy smoke and low visibility as 733 homes are under Level 3 GO NOW evacuation, 1195 homes under Level 2 Be Set evacuation, and 157 homes under Level 1 Be Ready evacuation.

Officials continue to monitor the situation and crews battle the blaze as evacuation orders have been prompted for thousands of residents.
