This businesswoman’s unique wellness idea is turning online trends into real-world therapy.

Based in Paisley, Scotland, Luci Banks claims she is one of the world’s first professionals to bring Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response (ASMR) into the treatment room, and the very first in her country.

The 28-year-old told how people pay around £90 just for her to play with hair as a form of ASMR therapy.

She said: “I get paid to play with people’s hair and help them feel more relaxed than they ever thought possible.

“I used to spend hours watching ASMR on YouTube. It amazed me how something so simple, the sound of someone brushing hair or whispering, could make me feel so calm.”

Luci’s sessions aren’t your typical back-and-shoulder rub. Instead, they’re a delicately designed blend of gentle touch, hair play, and intentional movements – all crafted to recreate the tingling, calming sensation millions get from watching ASMR videos online.

But it wasn’t just a fascination. Luci noticed the thousands of comments from viewers around the world all saying the same thing, ‘I wish I could feel this in real life.’

That’s when inspiration struck. Starting with just a simple setup and a big idea, Luci began offering in-person ASMR-inspired treatments.
