Maddy Northeast, from Melbourne, Australia, decided to go camping with her sister, Ebony, but woke up after she was swept away in her tent – 40 meters down the river.
Maddy started suffocating as her tent was being filled with water but thankfully, her camp neighbour rescued her with an axe in hand.
Maddy lost all her belongings and she and her sister had to wait on the top of her car roof while waiting for help.
