Checkout this eerie footage of an urban explorer stepping foot inside one of the largest nuclear shelters in Europe.

The bunker, located in Germany had been abandoned for some years as its sprawling corridors slowly decayed.

Bob Thissen made his way through the huge doors slowly exploring the long corridors of the bunker, finding many interesting things along the way.

Bob said: “This Cold War bunker could house over 5000 people in case of a nuclear threat or war.

“Since the threat of WWIII, many of these bunkers are being inspected to be reactivated, but since there hasn’t been any maintenance for years, it’s a difficult task.”

He added: “I have seen many abandoned nuclear shelters in Europe, but this one is huge and it was also nice to see it was still totally intact, so you don’t have to imagine how it must have looked like.

“There are many nuclear shelters, but they are not known by most people and hidden in plain sight.”
