What was meant to be a romantic, picture-perfect proposal turned into a hilarious disaster when the engagement ring took a surprising plunge – and the internet can’t get enough of it!
McKenna Hiller watched her sister’s partner get down on one in a scenic lake setting.
Overcome with excitement and emotion, McKenna’s sister turned around in disbelief to show off her ring to friends and family before she accidentally hit the ring into the lake.
Coming to the rescue, McKenna didn’t hesitate to jump in and grab the ring while the loved-up couple were beside themselves on the pier.
Residing in New York, USA, McKenna recorded the proposal thinking it would be a sweet moment to look back on but she didn’t know what was about to follow.
Not only did the ring fly into the lake, a beer was also spilled onto the camera in the process!
Posting the hilarious video to her Instagram, it has since gone viral with many comments flying in.
