Watch these tourists get swept off their feet as violent waves crash into a pier.
Tina Martin captured this alarming footage as she visited the seaside town of Whitby in England, UK, which shows tourists walking along the pier in the wake of Storm Ciaran.
As the water crashed up either sides of the pier, a woman walking was pushed to the ground by the rushing water leading to worried shouts from onlookers.
A family with small children can then be seen walking across the pier that has clearly been left unsafe after the storm.
Coastguards can be seen rushing down to help the people get off the unsafe pier.
