Intense winds have fuelled multiple brush fires across Tennessee, forcing residents to evacuate.
The fires, including one that burned over 200 acres near Gatlinburg, were exacerbated by conditions in areas still recovering from Hurricane Helene.
At least two buildings were damaged, but rain from a coast-to-coast storm helped control the flames.
Evacuations were lifted on the morning of Wednesday 5 March, though residents were warned to remain cautious.
The National Weather Service issued a Fire Weather Warning for the region due to ongoing high winds.
