man who lost his eye to a rare cancer as a child has shared his incredible journey. Wesley Hogan, from North Carolina, USA, was diagnosed with cancer in both eyes at the age of two. Despite years of treatment, the disease spread, leading to the removal of his left eye when he was just four. Over the years, Wesley tried different ways to conceal his missing eye, including wearing a prosthetic—until it flew off on a rollercoaster. In 2019, he made the life-changing decision to have his eye sewn shut, calling it ‘one of the best decisions’ he’s ever made.
