A rare blood moon will light up the UK skies on Friday with a stunning lunar eclipse visible to millions.
The moon will glow red as it passes through Earth’s shadow between 06:26 and 07:31 GMT on 14 March.
British stargazers can even enjoy the event without any special equipment and for the best view, look for the moon low in the sky around dawn.
The phenomenon offers a stunning visual, with the moon appearing larger due to the “Moon Illusion” effect.
