A Scottish footballer is making waves on TikTok after sharing epic POV footage of his skills on the football pitch.
Brendan McGill from Paisley, Scotland, who works at ASDA, has been filming his performances in the 7-a-side Paisley Powerleague with a GoPro strapped to his head. The footage, showcasing his silky skills, has been blowing up online.
Brendan said: “Watching the footage back was really cool seeing how I played in a different angle and was quite interesting, it made me feel really happy because other people really enjoyed watching games of football in this POV.”
He started recording his matches with the GoPro after the pandemic. “I wanted to try something new and I’m always playing football, so I thought hey, why not try get some content out of this?”
At first, people laughed and mocked him for wearing the GoPro, but Brendan didn’t let it bother him. “I just ignored the hate from people and now people see me like it’s normal wearing it and get a lot of positive comments from people.”
