Meet the man behind the viral Taylor swift cake as he reveals the range of his artistic baking skills.
Keith Scovell, 54, uploaded the pictures of his Taylor Swift cake onto Facebook, marking the celebration of his niece’s 18th birthday.
Needless to say the cake definitely was the talk of the party.

Keith, from London, UK, admits to his baking success was accidental and started off as a challenge to make his family laugh.
Keith said: “I started my very first, the ‘Croc’, for one for my sister’s birthday.
“I’ve never baked before and I was surprised at how creative I could be.”
Keith’s creation was later unveiled in a park and drew in quite a crowd who saw the cake as a hilarious photo opportunity.

Keith added: “The next was Mary Poppins or Scary Poppins as someone called her.
“She was so much fun and when she was unveiled there was silence for a bit, then screams of laughter!”
Keith admits that his expertise for crafting toothy celebrities became a staple, as he found an array of sweets to form these realistic smiles.
Soon after Keith moved onto engagement cakes, in which the interpretive artwork was mistaken for a McDonald’s chip box.

Keith said: “Then came Ru Paul cake for a 50th drag themed party.
“Mama Ru set the weak room on fire when she was unveiled.”
Keith’s iconic Taylor Swift cake was next in which he had to hide from the children at the party to ensure it didn’t scare them away.
With Taylor’s tic tac teeth (mistaken for paracetamol tablets, cheesy sponse finger and glittery complexion, it’s almost impossible to not recognise the singer.
Keith teases that his best creation yet will be revealed at the end of this month and hints at a certain reforming for one last tasty treat.

Keith said: ”These brought a lot of joy to not only me but family too.
“I shared them on my private Facebook page to friends, as and when they were created. They loved them.
“I thought I’d give ‘The Taylor’ a go on Rate My Plate and she went feral.
“Not sure the world was quite ready for her.”

His dreams are to eventually present one of his cakes to his celebrity muses and has even set up his own baking facebook, Kakes by Keith, which has soared with popularity.
Keith said: “The cakes are all out there now, I feel like a mother releasing her children on into the world.
“These cakes are meant to make people smile, laugh and pleased they have not got one.”
Who knew that a few cakes could bring so much laughter!
