Chloe Murphy, 29, had been training rigorously for months, never once suspecting she was carrying not one, but two babies. It wasn’t until a post-marathon Prosecco celebration that she started to feel something was amiss.

Chloe said: “I ran the London marathon, not knowing I was pregnant…with twins!”

Originally from Solihull, UK, Chloe’s incredible tale has taken the internet by storm. She began training at the end of 2023, determined to conquer the prestigious race in April 2024. With her family and friends cheering her on, she crossed the finish line, never imagining she was running for three!

Just days later, Chloe flew to Spain for her best friend’s hen party. But her first celebratory sip of Prosecco at the airport left her feeling instantly unwell. That’s when it hit her—she had missed a period, but had been so focused on training that she hadn’t even noticed.

Sensing something wasn’t right, Chloe sneaked off to a local chemist and bought a pregnancy test. To her shock, the result came back positive!

She also jokingly recalled how the word for pregnant was in Spanish and she had to use Google Translate to make sure she was right.

“I then realised with all the training I was doing, without realising, I had missed a period!

“After a couple of hours of arriving, I snuck off to a Spanish chemist on my own…

“I took the test…I was pregnant!
