This ‘mortified’ mum told how she discovered her toddler eating some of her dad’s ashes from their living room urn.
Natasha Emeny had just quickly nipped upstairs to put some washing away and when she returned, she found that her one-year-old had been eating some of her dad’s ashes.
Her son, Koah, was caught red-handed with the ashes, some of which were still on his face and clothes, and the sofa.
She says the urn was on the ‘top shelf’ and that her son had never messed with it before.
While little Koah had never met Natasha’s father before, she says that he had a great sense of humour and would have found the incident hilarious.
Natasha posted the video online where it went completely viral, with some people finding the story so unbelievable, they thought it was an April Fools Day joke.
However, Natasha says she is still trying to process what happened!
Natasha, from Lincoln, UK, said: “I was taking some washing upstairs, literally for a couple of minutes.
“I come back down to him covered in ashes.
“It took me a moment to realise it was in fact my dads ashes.
“I was mortified!
“I’m still trying to process it!”
Replying to some comments on her video, she said: “It’s been there his whole life, he’s never touched them ever.
“He never met him but now they are always together!
One commenter mentioned that she should call a doctor for advice, she replied with: “They just said to give him water and he’ll be fine.
“My dad would be creasing too.
“He definitely would have laughed, we all love a bit of dark humour.”
