Scientists have successfully revived the extinct dire wolf, marking the world’s first de-extinction.
Using DNA extracted from ancient fossils, Colossal Biosciences combined it with grey wolf genetics to create three healthy pups named Romulus, Remus, and Khaleesi, based on the hit show Game of Thrones
The dire wolf once roamed North and South America before vanishing 12,000 years ago.
The company, also working on reviving the woolly mammoth by 2028, used advanced cloning techniques to bring this prehistoric predator back to life.
These wolves now thrive in a 2,000-acre preserve in the US, where they are closely monitored.
