Katy Perry has blasted off into space with five other women on the first all-female mission in over 60 years.

The Blue Origin rocket, owned by Jeff Bezos, launched from West Texas, US, and spent just over 10 minutes in flight.

Perry was joined by Gayle King, Aisha Bowe, Amanda Nguyen, Kerianne Flynn, and fiancée Lauren Sanchez on the historic journey.

The singer, whose call name was “Feather,” joked she’d put “the ‘ass’ in astronaut” as she documented her out-of-this-world adventure.
