A Star Wars-obsessed dad-to-be has gone viral for creating a jaw-dropping, movie-style gender reveal video featuring an epic lightsaber duel.
Levi Hawk from Danville, Indiana, USA, put together a perfect gender reveal for his pregnant wife, Jayden, and soon to be baby girl.
With a background in editing, Levi put together a Star Wars inspired video, with two endings, the doctor then deleted one based on which gender the baby would be.

Levi said: “I have experience editing videos and I knew that me and my brothers would be able to choreograph a lightsaber duel!
“I did it so my daughter can see how involved her family is with something as silly as a homemade Star Wars movie!”
After finding out his wife was pregnant Levi wanted to do something special to mark the occasion and something his soon to be born child could look back on.
The dad-to-be thought of the perfect gender reveal theme and after being a life long fan alongside his brothers, Adam and Luke, the family combined their skills and nerdy expertise with a dream.

With perfectly curated lightsaber choreography and a Jedi warrior duel, the brothers filmed two alternate endings of who won the battle – the pink or blue lightsaber, dependant on the gender.
The final edit was then given to Levi and Jayden’s doctor, who was tasked with deleting whichever ending represented the gender the child would not be.
The masterpiece was finally revealed at a baby shower, where the couple and entire family’s reactions were captured on camera.

The finale showed the pink Jedi win the battle, much to the shock of everyone witnessing it and the perfect gender reveal was complete.
The couple revealed that they decided to name their daughter Reya, after Rey Skywalker from the new Star Wars films.
Since posting the video online, viewers have even asked Levi to create their own themed gender reveals.

Levi said: “I have experience editing videos and I knew that me and my brothers would be able to choreograph a lightsaber duel.
“We have been fans of Star Wars our whole life, we used to sit and watch the original trilogy for hours and hours everyday one summer.
“We had the doctor delete the ending that the baby wasn’t so we didn’t even know the gender until our families along with ourselves watched!”

He added: “It was everyone’s first time finding out.
“We all went crazy!
“I did it so my daughter can see how involved her family is with something as silly as a homemade Star Wars movie!
“My brothers and I spent hours choreographing, working on script, camera placement, everything for such a great memory!”
