After years of performing in a French circus, lionesses Tomoyo and Illiana have found freedom in South Africa.
Rescued by animal welfare group FOUR PAWS, the big cats were flown to LIONSROCK Sanctuary, where they now roam freely for the first time.
Born in captivity and forced to perform, both lions suffered poor conditions. Now, they’re thriving under the African sun.
FOUR PAWS is calling for a global ban on wild animals in circuses.
