A fast-growing wildfire in New Jersey has forced the evacuation of around 3,000 people and disrupted traffic throughout the state.
The blaze, dubbed the Jones Road Fire, has scorched 13,500 acres around Ocean County and Lacey Townships, New Jersey, US, as dry vegetation and 25mph winds continue to fuel the blaze.
Fire crews have only managed to bring it down to 50% containment, with over 1,300 structures under threat and damage assessments underway.
The Jones Road fire may become one of the most significant wildfires New Jersey has seen in the past two decades.
