A new global study reveals where people are “flourishing” the most, with Indonesia topping the list, followed by the Philippines and Mexico.

Conducted by Harvard University, the research surveyed over 200,000 people from 22 countries, analysing health, happiness, relationships, financial security, and spiritual well-being.

Surprisingly, wealthier nations like the U.S. and the U.K. ranked lower, with the U.K. coming in 20th out of 22.

The findings suggest that flourishing is influenced by factors beyond financial stability, such as strong relationships and community connections.

The study also notes that older individuals tend to flourish more than younger people, sparking questions about how societal development impacts well-being.
