After being bullied over her ears, a little girl was left overjoyed after surgery gave her a brand-new look and self-confidence.
Primróse Harrison, from Nottingham, UK, underwent a pinnaplasty, a surgical procedure to pin back her ears, and she absolutely loves the results.
Her mum, Seren Smalley, captured the heartwarming moment she removed her bandages and Primróse saw her new ears for the first time.

Seren said: “One day I styled her hair and put it all up, she went to the mirror to look at the hair style and burst out crying.
“It was then she told me she hated her ears as they are too big.”
Seren shared that Primróse has always struggled with regulating her emotions, and how having her hair up triggered her insecurity over her ears.

When Primróse was six years old she revealed to her mum that she was being teased at school for her ears and watching her daughter’s confidence fade left Seren heartbroken.
After Primróse opened up about how self-conscious she felt, Seren instantly went into mum-mode, determined to do whatever it took to help her little girl feel beautiful and confident.
The family chose to go through with the procedure privately and the surgery was a success as Primróse recovered well and felt more like herself than ever.
Seren filmed the emotional moment when her daughter saw her new ears for the very first time as she began to adjust to her new look.

Sharing the overwhelming journey on social media, over 1.2 million viewers celebrated the little girl’s brave transformation and message of self-love.
Seren said: “The surgery went better than you could imagine. The care, support and attention was amazing.
“Her recovery is going very well. She’s a young girl with so much energy so trying to get her to relax and be careful is a challenge, but every day is better.
“Her ears are beautiful and so is she!
“She is still a little sceptical of looking at her new ears, which is understandable and will take time for her to adjust but I can see in herself that she loves them.”

She added: “She was six at the time and to see your daughter’s confidence shatter that quickly was heartbreaking!
“Her hair has to be down at all times and if she knew her ears were on show you could see her fold in on herself because she was worried and riddled with anxiety because of it.
“I cannot wait for her to go back to school and her usual activities and watch her confidence soar and be the most amazing girl she is.”
