This savvy man has taken drastic action to beat soaring rent prices by converting an old Land Rover into his very own camper van.

London is in the Top 10 of most expensive cities in which to live in, with monthly rent prices averaging at £2,121, almost double the UK average rent.

Fed up with the cost of living in London, George, from Hereford, England, purchased an ex-RAF Series 3 Land Rover for £5.5K, and spent an extra £4K to transform it into a fully liveable camper.

Now, he’s not only slashing his monthly expenses by nearly £1,000, but he is also on track to save up for a house deposit within months.

Living the minimalist dream, George sold most of his belongings and now works remotely from stunning locations around the country—with his only worries being the cost of his diesel bill.

George and Dennis (the Landy) have really proven that freedom comes on four wheels!
