A woman has claimed her historic New Orleans home is haunted after weeks of creepy happenings.
Katie Hurley, 38 from New Orleans, Louisiana, USA says she started to notice her dog bark into nothing late into the night.
The disturbances escalated with the 38-year-old convinced her partner saw a pair of legs in the bathroom.
When talking about the experience she said ‘The dog is waking up now two times in the middle of the night, around two to three am barking, barking, barking.
‘I just saw disembodied legs standing in front of the toilet.’
As the weeks went on Katie began to see shadows and hear voices, but she never discussed this with her boyfriend, until he also came clean that he had heard someone mimicking her Katies voice when she was nowhere near.
They claim this continued for a while, with the couple becoming sleep deprived and stressed with shadows haunting their corridors, and whispered voices making them uneasy.
One night when they had both been woken up again in the middle of the night her boyfriend went to the bathroom only to see a pair of disembodied legs next to the toilet.
Since this incident they now believe the house is haunted by three separate entities and say the activity has shown no signs of slowing down.
However, the couple still live in the home they believe to be haunted.
