This remarkable portrait was painted entirely using oat milk to honour one of history’s most iconic leaders Winston Churchill. Wayne Wright, a printer and artist from Solihull, UK, created the tribute to Winston Churchill in celebration of it being 80 years since Victory in Europe Day. He explained how the milk, close to expiry and gifted to him by a local store unexpectedly became his medium of choice. Painting on a sheet of glass using his kitchen countertop as the background, the whole piece came together in about ten minutes. The artist, who first began painting five years ago, using coffee after his daughter asked him to create something without paint, has since sold pieces worldwide. Though known for his coffee artwork, this milk painting was a change of pace and one that brought in plenty of positive comments online, including some milk- related humour and references to a famous John Lennon quote about Churchill and milk.
