Meet The Apprentice TV star who shows the extreme reality of female bodybuilding. She talks about peeing in a cup, stripping off in front of strangers, and stinking of body odour!
Mia Collins, from Chelsea, London, UK, rose to fame on The Apprentice with her business idea for healthy, prepped meals delivered to your door.
But the real inspiration behind her brand was the wild world of competitive bodybuilding.

She explains: “It’s traumatic, to say the least.
“You’re stripping off naked in front of other competitors, covered in two thick layers of tan that gets absolutely everywhere. And if you want to avoid ruining it, you might end up peeing in a cup.”
Mia lifts the lid on the reality with strict body preparations, tanning disasters, and how nearly ever hair on the body is removed.

Mia even talks about how girls will lie backstage with their legs in the air to avoid bloating before going on stage.
She also discussed how the smell was hard to get used to, since perfume and deodorant would impact the tans – leaving the area smelling of B.O.
She loves how she looks on stage, but fears the tan leaves her looking like tiger bread days after the completion and claims it takes a army of people to remove it.

Despite all the intensive preparation Mia loves bodybuilding, she has been training and competing for over two years and has no plans to stop any time soon.
She explains: “It stinks backstage because your tan is so sensitive to fragrance and chemicals, you are not allowed to use any perfumes, antiperspirants or anything that could conflict with the tanning solution.
“You cannot risk any drips, drabs or leaks on your tan. It has to be in perfect condition all the time.
“It’s all about having those nice, tight, conditioned legs. So backstage, all of the girls will sit with their legs bolt right up in the air, just to reduce even more inflammation.
“You have to remove every single hair on your body. I mean, head to toe. You might need some help on your back, and you will end up looking like a naked mole rat.”
