After more than a decade of silence, Krystal, the beloved U.S. burger chain, is making an exciting return with its first new restaurant in Texas.

The chain, which filed for bankruptcy in 2020, plans to open 200 locations in the next few years, including in high-traffic spots like airports and travel centres.

This resurgence comes after Krystal was rescued by Fortress Investment Group, leading to a rebound in sales.

The brand, known for its square sliders, is updating existing locations with digital menu boards and improved drive-thru lanes.

Despite competition from other fast food chains, Krystal’s expansion marks an exciting new chapter for the classic American eatery.
