A dwarf who struggled to get women to date him because of his short stature has had the last laugh – by landing his dream job as an exotic dancer.
Shane Belgre was constantly getting rejected by women in his early twenties, due to his 4ft 2in physique.
But now, he finds himself turning them away as they flock to his party nights.
The dad of two first made his mark seven years ago when he was asked to kick off his kit as a surprise at a friend’s hen party.
Since then the singleton has been capitalising on his short physique and turning it into his advantage.
By day, he works as a self-employed personal trainer, but by night, he’s a crowd-pleasing dancer, earning up to £160 ($300 AUD) for a 30-minute show.
Sometimes, he hits as many as five parties in one night, where women go wild for his abs.
Shane added: “It was hard for me to date girls in my 20s, because people are more superficial at that age and they’re more bothered about looks and height and that sort of thing.
“Now I can pick up girls a lot easier because I’m confident and they like my personality.
“I spend my life getting invited to parties.”
Although his stature might be short, his social calendar is anything but!
