A Bali-based travel planner has gone viral for showing the stark contrast between two monkey forests – one chaotic and the other calm and respectful.
In one clip filmed at the tourist-heavy Ubud Monkey Forest, a curious primate suddenly climbs atop Flora Jacquelin and aggressively snatches at her.
But in a second video, taken at the lesser-known Sangeh Monkey Forest, the monkeys are noticeably calmer.
They move slowly, politely approach her, and gently take food from her hand.
Flora, 29, has lived in Bali for seven years and wanted to show how different two experiences with the same animals can be, depending on the environment and treatment they receive.
