A fast-moving wildfire near in Arizona, has scorched over 3,500 acres and prompted urgent evacuations in several nearby communities.
The Greer Fire ignited Tuesday morning and spread rapidly due to high winds, with 150 personnel battling the flames.
Residents of Greer, South Fork, and areas west of Highway 261 have been told to evacuate, while others remain on alert.
This follows the devastating wildfires that hit LA in January and the shock fires that broke out in Minnesota earlier this week.
Highway closures and ongoing fire threats have left parts of the region on edge as crews race to contain the blaze.
