A shocking fire broke out at a mattress warehouse in Baltimore, causing train services to halt in and around the area.

The fire broke out Monday night on West Lanvale Street, leading to the evacuation of 30 residents and the deployment of over 200 firefighters to battle the blaze.

The fire, which involved stored mattresses in a vacant warehouse, caused thick smoke to billow from the multi-story building, but was contained by the morning.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, with crews continuing to address hotspots.
