A woman who spent £25K turning herself into a real-life, plastic fantastic Barbie doll found her Ken after years of searching – and not only that, she found three of him!

Rachel Evans explained that she found her dream man in a combination of Ken Mike, Ken Bouji, Ken Richard, and Ken Steve, who all tried their luck with her after falling for her resemblance to Barbie.

However, in order to get a chance with the self-confessed human Barbie doll, the men, who were among her many admirers, had to meet her strict checklist of Ken criteria.

Rachel, from Essex, UK, said: “To be a Ken, you must pass my checklist which is simply think, speak, and act like Ken.

“Just like Ryan Gosling in the movie, Ken is an accessory to Barbie’s lifestyle.

“He is her biggest cheerleader. He supports her and is thoughtful.

“He is groomed, looks polished, and likes matching outfits. That’s what Ken-ergy means.”

Rachel explained that one of her Kens, Ken Richard, beat the stiff competition through his humour on Instagram.

She said of the professional Ken lookalike: “I often get guys messaging me – from their mid-20s to 40s on Instagram – wanting to date me, but Richard was funny and stood out from the rest.

“He slid into my Insta DMs after liking my pictures and told me, ‘I will be your Ken!’”

The barbie lookalike added: “A couple of months ago, we worked together as Barbie and Ken lookalikes on a photo shoot at a funfair together.

“Afterwards, we enjoyed fish and chips on the beach. We hit off and both agreed to hang out again.

“We recently went on another date to the Barbie Movie premier, where he was once again all too happy to dress up and be my accessory.

“We were mobbed by adoring fans of around 30 groups who asked for our photos.

“It was crazy how much love we received!

“They told us, ‘It’s Barbie and Ken’.”

Rachel explained that she met two of her other platonic Kens at events where she appeared as Barbie, and revealed that Ken Mike and Ken Bouji enjoyed competing for her highly-sought-after attention.

The human Barbie explained that while she was only romantically involved with one Ken at a time, it didn’t mean that she couldn’t have multiple men to play with.

Rachel revealed that she did have a romance with music producer Ken Mike, 44 but they decided they were better as best friends.

Rachel added: “I have multiple Kens just like Barbie herself.

“When people ask me what it’s like, I say it is so much fun!

“If I don’t want to play with one Ken, there are other Kens to play with. And they get to play with me, Barbie.”

When talking of music producer, Ken Bouji, she said: “We met last December when I did a personal appearance at a club charity event as Barbie.

“We walked the red carpet and hung out.

“It was the same event where I met Ken Mike. They are friends. And just like in the Barbie movie, these two Kens are platonic with me, but they do like to compete for my attention.

“I told them ‘nobody is gonna beach anybody off!’ when they get overly Ken-ergetic or competitive.”

Rachel’s dating life changed completely when she decided to let her perfect man find her instead of looking for him herself.

She said: “I told myself Ken has to find me, and now that’s happening.

“Now I have multiple Kens to have fun with, who mostly give me platonic friendships to build on and see where it goes.”

The Barbie lookalike explained that when she was not spending her evenings playing with her multiple Kens, just like the doll herself, she loved a girls’ night in or simply dressing up in her many Barbie outfits at home.

Rachel, who spent over £25K ($31,602) transforming into Barbie, said dating was a lot easier now that she got the look of her dreams.

She said: “Now I’m living as Barbie, dating has become easier.

“Guys love my groomed to perfection, glamorous doll-like face and body.

“They slide into my Instagram DMs complimenting me, and if I have time, I reply to say thank you.”

Rachel added: “My dating life was very quiet before I had surgery on my face and body.

“I went through a period where I tried dating guys, but I was depressed and gothic and not interested in a serious relationship.

“Even though I tried unsuccessfully to have one or two serious relationships over all those years, it never worked out.

“I needed to be Barbie. Once that happened, my life changed for the better.”

Rachel explained that it took her nearly 20 years to get her dream Barbie look with a boob job, nose job, lip fillers and more, and credited the cosmetic procedures with allowing her to ‘age in reverse’.

She said: “I believe I am exactly where I am meant to be.

“My face is the perfect aesthetic I have reached. I am ageing in reverse.

“I’m happy living in Barbie Land, and I am having fun with my Kens.”
