A powerful 6.5 magnitude earthquake shook Colombia’s capital, Bogotá, early Sunday, sending residents such as Taylor who captured this into a panic.

The quake struck near Paratebueno, about 170 kilometers east of the city, and was felt across much of the country.

Buildings swayed, sirens blared, and frightened families gathered outside as authorities assessed minor damage.

Despite the intense shaking, no serious injuries were reported.
