A group of British lads decided to steer clear of the usual tourist hotspots and instead do a road trip through Iran, a country that both the UK and USA have strongly advised not to visit.
Kieran Brown from Kent, UK, has travelled all over the world but has been desperate the visit the country he calls ‘the most misunderstood place on the planet.’
After landing in the country’s capital, Tehran, Kieran and his pals were blown away by the architecture and the culture.

He said: “My first breath of Iranian air was even great! I fell in love with the place instantly.
“The people were so welcoming, despite the reputation countries like this have.”
The lads got up to all sorts whilst in the country including theme park visits, playing football with locals, visiting bars and having one too many Iranian beers!

Kieran said the best part of the trip was talking with locals and discussing he differences in daily lives and culture.
The travel-lover said: “We were treated like royalty once we got chatting to locals.
“Understandably people were cautious around us due to the history between this part of the world and the west, but the majority of people were great!
“I think it’s truly the most misunderstood and underrated travel destination in the world.
“This is your sign to go on a lad’s holiday to Iran!”
