Chaos erupted in West London when two police horses were violently attacked by an out-of-control dog during a routine patrol in Shepherd’s Bush Green.
Police Horses Yvonne and Snaffles suffered minor injuries after the dog repeatedly bit at their legs while the owner failed to control it.
Bystanders stepped in to help stop the dog, which was later seized and returned to its owner.
Fortunately, the horses are recovering well in their stables and the officers were unharmed.
The Metropolitan Police are now appealing for witnesses as their investigation continues.
