He encourages children and aspiring musicians alike to find beauty in simplicity. “It’s super easy to take something like a carrot and make it sound beautiful.
He aims to inspire young minds to explore their own musical creativity. He notes, “You can take something as simple as a kitchen roll tube and play it like a didgeridoo.”

Boris’s passion for music ignited at an early age, thanks in large part to his mother, whose enchanting voice captivated him throughout his childhood.

He fondly recalls his introduction to the Cuban Congos and the mesmerizing sounds of the sitar, a guitar-like instrument from India that opened his eyes to the beauty of cultural diversity in music.

Despite his extensive travels and performances, Boris remains humble about his musical abilities. “I don’t think I will ever be good at playing everything professionally, but for me, it’s not about this—it’s about the fun that comes with it,” he insists.
Over the past 25 years, Boris has dedicated himself to sharing his love for music with children worldwide, performing more than 2,000 shows.
He believes that making instruments and playing music is crucial for fostering creativity in young minds. “Education is nothing without creativity,” he passionately states, highlighting the importance of nurturing imagination in the classroom.
As he reflects on his diverse collection, Boris adds, “My favorite instrument will always be the latest one I have played. They’re like children; you can’t really pick a favorite!”
