Queensland is bracing for another storm to hit as Tropical Cyclone Alfred draws closer to the region and New South Wales, with many residents forced to evacuate.
The intense cyclone comes just one month after the devastating floods that hit Townsville, as captured by resident Katt Andryskova.
The category two storm is set to make landfall in Queensland on Saturday 8 March with authorities urging residents to prepare for destructive winds, torrential rain, and storm surges.
Thousands of homes have lost power, hospitals are limiting procedures to emergencies and Brisbane Airport has been closed with hundreds of flight cancellations.
