Terrifying tornadoes and severe storms have wreaked havoc across the southern U.S. leaving Louisiana communities shattered.

Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office captured this devastating footage of the aftermath of the disaster.

Nearly 1,500 storm reports were made from 13 March to 15 March, causing widespread destruction across Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama and Louisiana.

Dust storms, wildfires, and widespread flooding have added to the devastation, leaving over 320,000 without power.
