She said: “I refused to believe and listen to anybody else.

“I convinced myself that I can do this and eventually we kept on trying and at 38 years old, I conceived completely naturally with our miracle baby.”

Diana was initially diagnosed with stage one Cervical cancer at 29 years old, despite not having any initial symptoms.

She explained that her diagnosis was a ‘fluke’ as the couple were moving house and she had to change her GP.

Diana was informed by her new doctors that she had to take a mandatory smear test. Although she admitted she was reluctant, she went through with it.

The test identified the cervical cancer and it was removed immediately, but Diana’s body became very weak and she stopped having her periods.

Diana visited several medical professionals for answers and was initially diagnosed with PCOS, also known as polycystic ovary syndrome.

However, she eventually found the root of her health issues and was diagnosed with hypothalamic amenorrhea, which affected her periods due to a problem involving her hypothalamus.

The fitness fanatic admitted that she was undereating and over-exercising which resulted in her not menstruating and ovulating, resulting in her fertility.

The couple initially opposed having children, but after spending time with their nieces, they decided to embark on their parenthood journey.

During their struggle to get pregnant, Diana was faced with more devastating news as she found a lump on her breast and was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Her journey getting her cancer diagnosis was not straightforward as she claimed she was misdiagnosed with mastitis, a painful inflammation of breast tissue, and had to advocate for her cancer diagnosis.

Eventually, Diana underwent a mastectomy on one of her breasts and is currently waiting for reconstructive surgery.

Despite all the obstacles she had faced, she believed that motherhood was meant for her and never stopped manifesting for her miracle baby.

The couple naturally fell pregnant in December 2022 and eventually got their first positive test on Christmas morning.

However, Diana sadly miscarried but she never stopped trying and focused on her mindset.

She naturally conceived her baby boy, Leo, three months later and finally got her ‘picture-perfect pregnancy’ with no complications.

Despite her struggles, Diana admitted that experiencing cancer twice and her infertility struggles led her to dream of life as a mother.

She said: “When I was 37 years old we went through our first IVF consultation, and that week, I was diagnosed with breast cancer.

“I just couldn’t believe it. From one cancer to five years of infertility to having no periods, my body is being passed back and forth, and now I’ve got breast cancer.

“That was the hardest time of my life. I was like ‘Is this it? Will I never become a mum now?’”

Diana added: “I had a mastectomy, and they had to remove the entire breast and I’m still missing one boob.

“I had to go to radiotherapy and then I started to work on my mindset.

“We kept on trying, and three months after my miscarriage, this is where we got the second pregnancy positive pregnancy test.

“Then I just chilled and took it day by day because once you have miscarried, every single day you live in fear it’s going to happen again.

“I had the best pregnancy, like a picture-perfect pregnancy, no complications.”
