Watch this glamorous woman swap heels and dresses for overalls when she ditched her job as a bottle girl in a nightclub for a career on an oil rig.
Kennedy Taylor worked as a bartender in a glam nightclub serving pints and shots to party goers but decided to roll up her sleeves and get dirty as she grafted on oil rigs across Canada.
Kennedy, from Nova Scotia, Canada, worked as a casing hand on a male dominated oil rig and saw her income triple but still faced many sexist comments along the way.
Her extreme career change was sparked by the pandemic and when nightclubs closed and her income never recovered, her friends and family suggested working in the oil and gas industry.
Kennedy originally turned her nose up at the idea but insisted it was the best decision she ever made as she went from earning minimum wage to making $175 CDN an hour.
