Kīlauea Volcano’s latest eruption, dubbed Episode 24, lit up the night sky over Hawaii, lasting roughly 7.5 hours.
Both the north and south vents erupted, sending lava fountains soaring over 1,000 feet and plumes rising 16,500 feet into the air.
