Lava fountains at Hawaii’s Kīlauea volcano soared over 1,000 feet during a dramatic eruption in Episode 23 of the ongoing series.
David Hjorth captured the North Vent emitting an enormous lava arch as the South Vent was just beginning to fountain at the left.
Episode 23 of the ongoing summit eruption saw both the north and south vents in Halemaʻumaʻu crater erupting simultaneously.
