Smoke from dozens of active Canadian wildfires is drifting into the U.S., pushing air quality to ‘unhealthy’ levels in parts of North Dakota, Montana, Minnesota, and South Dakota, according to the EPA.
North Dakota resident, Neil, captured the hazy skies as majority of the smoke is travelling from Manitoba, where over 17,000 people have been evacuated.
Officials warn that visibility and air quality will remain poor as fires continue to burn across the region.
