With the Harry Potter TV series set to hit our screens in 2026, the franchise’s fan base is still as strong as ever. 

Rumours are rising of British actor Toby Woolf to be taking over from Daniel Radcliffe as the newest Harry Potter and even Tom Felton, who played Draco Malfoy, to be returning.

The Hogwarts high has not seemed to waivered over the past two decades since the release of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone book in 1997.

However, one fan has solidified her title as the world’s biggest Harry Potter fan with her vast collection of memorabilia, worth more than a whopping £40,000 ($52,141).

Katie Aiani, from Simi Valley, in California, USA, has dedicated over 16 years of her life to the wizarding world of Harry Potter. 

The graphic designer first became obsessed with the J.K. Rowling books after her sister recommended them to her when she was just 11. 

Ever since she has been hooked, spending thousands on trips to film premieres and theme parks, and has rooms piled high with magical memorabilia. 

The self-proclaimed ‘worlds best fan’ boasts an impressive collection, from wands, broomsticks, character figurines and her very own set of Gryffindor robes.

The most expensive Harry Potter item ever sold was the original watercolour illustration from the first edition book, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s stone, which was sold for $1.9m (£1.5m).
