After struggling with insecurities over her forehead, this girl decided to get a hair transplant at 16 in Turkey.
Yas Labidi, from Nottingham, UK, loved her natural curly hair but wanted to reduce her forehead.
The teen flew over 2,400 miles to receive the hair transplant surgery and was left ecstatic over the results.

She said: “I was absolutely buzzing. I was so excited and just me looking at myself in the mirror like ‘oh my god I’m gonna have a new hairline’.
“All the surgeons and everyone that works there is literally so nice and made me feel so welcome.”
Yas’ transplant was successful, and she explained how comfortable she felt during the whole process.

Just under two months post operation, she experienced the ‘shedding’ process in which some of her transplanted hair fell out.
This is a normal part of the healing process as follicles adjust to their new location and new hair begins to grow back in its place a few months later.
Within the first three months Natasha’s hair will have grown 35% and after eight to ten months it will have grown 95%.

Yas faced much confusion from her peers over her decision for a transplant, but she explained how her insecurities over her forehead were an ongoing struggle that she wanted to fix.
She opted for a hair transplant over forehead reduction surgery due to the procedure being less intense and the lack of scarring.
Yas added that her procedure was painless, and she has not stopped giggling with happiness post-surgery.
