A wave of tourists overwhelmed the small Italian village of Sirmione over the weekend, clogging streets and causing massive delays.
The town, home to just over 8,000 residents, was brought to a standstill as visitors flooded in to see its Roman ruins and fairytale-like Scaligero Castle.
Locals have reportedly grown fed up with the chaos, reportedly wished they could give the tourists “the boot.”
