Edson Brandao sent the internet into meltdown, with many shocked after learning of his real age, despite maintaining a very youthful appearance.
The social media creator amazingly achieved this by having never had plastic surgery done, claiming ‘everything is natural’.
While looking like a typical man in his thirties, Edson was actually in his late 50s.
Residing in Groningen, Netherlands, Edson said: “I don’t want to look artificial, I want to look the way I am.
“At the gym, there are young students, they think I’m a student as well and they come to me asking for help with weights.
“I feel much better now than I did at 30.
“I feel good, I have the energy to do everything I want.”
When Edson was younger and actually in his thirties, he revealed that he didn’t look after himself properly.
He realised he needed to change his habits to ‘age gracefully’, but never did he expect he’d now have the appearance he currently holds.
Taking to social media to show off his useful appearance, Edson had to deal with online trolls who believed he was full of Botox and plastic surgery.
Despite a small amount of Botox around his eyes, he has had zero plastic surgery or any type of filler.
The biggest reason for his appearance comes down to his new-found lifestyle.
Edson was in the gym every day exercising and lifting weights and also maintained a healthy, lean diet as well as playing sports regularly.
However, it isn’t all smooth for Edson at times, he had difficulty with proving his identity as his current passport photos showed off a hugely different version of himself.
Edson explained: “Nobody believes my real age.
“I had some problems when I showed my passport, for example, people didn’t believe me.
“Now, I take more care of myself. I lift weights every day, I have a diet with healthy foods, a lot of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.
“I need to take care of myself, ageing gracefully and feeling good.”
Edson added that looking younger was never his goal and he just wanted to improve his health for himself.
He added: “People think I am full of botox, had many plastic surgeries.
“I have never had plastic surgery in my life, but I use Botox just around the corner of my eye.
“I feel young, I look younger.
“I dress how I feel – I feel young, so I dress young.”
