This couple’s life isn’t like most others – they visit Disney World every single day and practically live at the famous resort.
Jessica and John Pruitt wanted to shake up their suburban life and they haven’t looked back since.
Residing in Davenport, Florida, USA, Jessica was eager to show viewers there is more to Disney World than first meets the eye.
Jessica said: “We love Disney World. There is so much more to do and see than just Mickey Mouse and roller coasters.
“I can’t even count the amount of times we have been.
“We have lived here for a little over two years now.”
Jessica and John, who goes by Wes, moved from Charlotte, North Carolina, to the Davenport area of Florida to be closer to Disney World, desiring a more active lifestyle.
They moved just seven miles away from Disney World and showcased what it’s like to go to Disney World every single day through their viral videos.
One popular video, which has been viewed over a million times, showed how the pair enjoyed their days by eating at restaurants and meeting up with friends.
Their decision to embrace a Disney-centric life was inspired by a family member who postponed enjoying life until retirement, only to find that they couldn’t enjoy the things they had worked so hard for.
Waiting for their three children to be old enough and settled with their own family, the adventurous pair decided to set off on their Disney escape.
For over two years, Jessica and Wes made Disney World their second home, attending in some form nearly every day of the week.
Attending so much, the couple are more than your usual regulars and even made lasting friendships with the staff and became familiar faces around the park.
On their story, Jessica said: “My husband & I go to Disney World every day but it’s not what you think.
“We used to eat at the same five restaurants in a small suburb of Charlotte & sit on the couch every night.
“We didn’t want that to be the rest of our story, so we made a change.”
Determined to show that Disney World is more than just rides, Jessica’s videos showed how they explored the area, grabbed lunch, went for cocktails, met up with friends, and listened to live music.
Sharing their adventures on social media, the couple received overwhelmingly positive responses, though not everyone fully understands their unique lifestyle.
Jessica explained: “We have lived here for a little over two years now and we are on Disney property in some way shape or form almost every day of the week.
“Whether we are popping in for coffee & fireworks or just listening to live music over at Disney Springs.
“We have made friends with some of the staff.
“We go so much that we get the unique experience of being regulars.”
The couple admitted that their friends & family are happy for them to be living a life that brings them so much joy.
She added: “We are very much the live & let live kind of people.
“You can pay bills & work from anywhere.
“Make the move & live anywhere your heart desires.
“Don’t let fear stop you from making big changes.”
